The Trakker KT2500 is perfect for ATV and UTV use. It has the fastest line speed of any 2,500-pound ATV winch; and is designed to do the job, stow the cable and then get you on your way quickly. The KT2500 has a removable rocker switch with a 15-foot cable and "Quick Clip" cradle for on-handle mounting. This remote control design is perfect for operating snow plows or to safely stand away from the winch while in use. The Hand Saver Strap attaches to the winch's hook, and makes it easy to manually pay out the wire rope when the freespool clutch is engaged. The KT2500 is also available in camouflage color, perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, sportsman and camo lover.

Strength and Safety to Get the Job Done
When you're out on the trail, or just in the shop, you want a winch that is strong enough to move your load. However, getting that load moved safely is always the primary concern. The KT2500 is equipped with 50 feet of durable 3/16" aircraft-grade galvanized wire rope that winds onto a sturdy drum-centric design. A 1.34 horsepower 12-volt DC motor and 3-stage planetary all-metal gear train provide excellent pulling speed and power. The dual mechanical and dynamic braking system is designed to stop and hold the fully loaded cable, keeping it where you need it until you are ready to move again. The KT2500 also has a built-in circuit breaker, protecting the winch and your equipment if a voltage change or short circuit should occur. Color-coded wiring and detailed instructions make do-it-yourself installation easy.

How to choose a winch
Choose a winch model with a capacity that is at least 1.5 times the weight of the vehicle you plan to pull. This assumes a rolling wheeled vehicle, in good condition, on a hard, flat, level surface. If you plan to drag a non-rolling load, choose a winch with at least twice the weight capacity. This will ensure that you will always be able to move the load, and guarantees a long life for your winch.

The Trakker KT2500 2,500-pound rated winch comes with the following: 50 feet of wire rope, one heavy-duty hook, one rocker switch with bracket on a 15-foot cable, one solenoid, one 100-amp circuit breaker, one roller fairlead, the Hand Saver strap, a strap wrap, hardware kit, installation wiring and owners manual. Winch mount kit is not included. Trakker Black Electric Winch is a utility winch which has superior performance and up to 20% longer operating life. It is designed with a side mounted drum and includes a convenient hand-held remote switch, cables and hand saver strap. This winch features a circuit breaker which protects the equipment from short-circuits.
